This page explains what information GoSoftware collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
GoSoftware is a software development company based in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, working from Justice Tower, Floor 16, Office 21.
We are responsible for the information described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of the page.
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, the service you selected, and the message you write.
We never ask for payment card details, passwords or identity documents through this website. Please do not send them to us.
When you visit the site we record your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar).
Where this relates to an enquiry it is stored with that enquiry, so we can tell which pages and campaigns actually produce enquiries.
We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics tools, which may include Google Analytics 4, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Microsoft Clarity. These set cookies and record how the site is used.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not load these tools at all. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We also keep our own record of how the site is used — which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, and where people stop in the contact form. It holds no personal data at all: no name, no IP address, no browser details. Visits are counted using a one-way code that changes every day, so it cannot be traced back to you or linked to you tomorrow. It stays on our own server, is never sent to anyone else, and is deleted after twelve months.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
It is handled by the providers that run our website and tools — our hosting provider, our email provider, and the analytics providers named above. Some of them process data outside Iraq.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we reasonably need them as a business record — normally no more than three years after our last contact with you — and are then deleted.
Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in the analytics tool.
You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your enquiry and everything attached to it.
Email us and we will action it. There is no charge.
Enquiries are stored in a database that only our team can reach, over an encrypted connection. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable care.
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
